So since today is halloween i thought i would do a post that is related to halloween so i went on google and i found this Halloween tag so here is my answers to it. 

1)What’s your favourite horror movie?

I haven’t really watched many horrors but the woman in black is my favourite it’s very jumpy and much more of a thriller than a horror, which I prefer more.

2) If you were in a horror movie, how far do you think you would get? (Five minutes, halfway, all the way to the end credits…?)

I would like to think I would last until the end, but in reality I’d probably only last until around half way maybe less, I’d probably do something really stupid that would make me die I would basically trip over and fall into the killers knife or something (basically my clumsiness would kill me.)

3) Favourite scary video game?

I haven’t played any, so I’m not sure, I’d rather watch the youtube videos of other people playing them, make them suffer the heart attack haha.

4) Favourite scary story?

My favourite scary story has the be the typical china doll story, which was one of the first ones I heard in middle school, thinking back on it now it scared everyone and if you had a china doll in your room you got rid of it because of the story, pretty stupid and it’s pretty funny looking back on it now.

5) What’s one unusual thing that you’re afraid of?

My fears are pretty normal spiders, bugs, insects, but It’s not as much as a fear more paranoid when I hear a noise in the house or if I see a shadow like a normal one like out of the corner of my eye I get paranoid thinking it’s someone or something but that’s usually on a night time and if I’m alone in the house.

6) What’s your first memory of Halloween?

I remember when I was around 5 or 6 I think, I went trick or treating around my estate with my friend and I remember it was one of the first times I can remember and it was fun and I got loads of sweets and I remember this elderly woman who lived a few doors down and she gave us money and basically at the time I think I got about £1.40 but of course being young I thought it was a lot and it was the best thing ever apparently.

7) What’s your favourite Halloween memory?

My favourite memory is of when I was in florida for Halloween with my best friend at the time and we stayed for two weeks and on the Halloween night we went to Disney world and we did the ‘mickey’s not so scary Halloween’ thing and we went around the park dressed up (we were 8) and I was like a Frankenstein’s bride and we went on the rides at Disney world and we met the characters, saw a parade, got sweets at each ride and it was really fun and by far my best Halloween memory.

8) Best Halloween costume you’ve had?

I’m not really sure on what my best costume was probably one when I was young so I’m going to go with when I was a vampire once, I mean there’s plenty of more outfits to come. 

9) Worst Halloween costume you’ve had?

My worst Halloween outfit was probably when I went as a like punk. Like I had blue and pink in my hair, black lipstick, dark make up, and an outfit but it was a rubbish costume and looking back on it, it wasn’t very punk like.

WHICH IS SCARIER:

10) Werewolves or vampires?

I’d say neither but I’m going to go with vampires I mean come on werewolves are only dangerous one night a month and yeah they have sharp teeth and can rip you to shreds, but vampires are dangerous everyday of the year and they have inhuman strength and speed, I mean have you seen buffy they’re dangerous.

11) Ghosts or zombies?

Probably ghosts I mean you can outrun zombies and a shot to the head and they’re dead. Ghosts they’re scarier I mean they can make things happen haunt you etc. I’d be much more scared of a ghost.

12) Creepy dolls or creepy clowns?

Creepy dolls I mean haven’t you seen Annabel, well I haven’t but that doll gives me the chills.

13) Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers or Leatherface?

I’m not sure probably leatherface as he’s from chainsaw massacre and he was based of an actual murderer like who did kill people so probably him.

What's In My Bag / School Edition

So I've recently started college, well a few months ago and I'm shocked about how fast these last few weeks have gone and I've realised compared to my bag I used to take when I was in high school I have changed a lot of things and I carry so much more in my bag so my bag is from urban outfitters and is a backpack which cost me £10 in their sale and this is what I carry inside.

So I'm going to start with my notebook, I have this NU notebook which has split sections. I picked their notebook because I have 4 subjects and the book itself has 5 split sections and since I don't have a bit bag it's much easier to carry around instead of five separate books.

I also Carry 4 pens with me two are just simple plain pens whilst the other one is a one with four colours (it comes in handy with English lit for analysing the poems) I also harry one highlighter around (once again for English lit or to highlight key words in my notebook. I don't actually own a pencil case as I really don't like them especially when I carry my purse and make up bag I have no room so these tend to lie in the bottom of my bag.

Also in my bag I carry my make up bag which usually consists of a broken hair brush (I'm hoping by the end of the year to get a tangle teaser.) I carry some hand sanitiser which was from primark for 60p.i carry my real techniques powder brush, maybelline the falsies mascara my Rimmel stay matte powder and my maybelline baby lips intense car, collection cover up stick and the lipstick/ lipgloss I wear that day which this particular day I wore my topshop lipstick in the colour beguiled. Also in my makeup bag I carry painkillers and sometimes cold relief tablets. 

Since I'm travelling further to school I carry my purse which of course consists of money for my dinner and travel and a little bit of my own money in case I want to go into town after I finish on my early days.  i got this purse from newlook for £9.99.

I also carry my juice cube (from John Lewis it cost £25 if you were wondering) which is a charger for my phone and at the moment my phone battery I broken so my phone is dying by around lunch time. So I need to be able to charge it. Anyways you charge it like you would a phone and the cable it comes with you change the end to fit your device so at the moment the end for mine is for an iPhone 4s. This little thing is such a life saver, I recommend these if you travel around a lot or if your out all day and your phone doesn't keep a charge.

I also carry a bottle of water with me because I've found out recently that I drink a lot of water up at college so I have a 720 ml water bottle. 

I also carry an umbrella I case of any bad weather. I also carry my student ID in my bag so I make sure I have it there with me, I usually clip this onto the draw string around the top to make sure I know where it is and have it to easily access as I need it out as I carry my pop card (it's like an Oyster card for the train but the Newcastle version) and I use that to pay for my ticket on the train. 

And the final thing I carry in my bag is my iPad mini as there's some days I have massive breaks such as a Tuesday where I have two hours free, plus free wifi and I sometimes need to do homework or some research so it's quite handy to have or of course just to play games on whilst I'm on the metro.

The Blogger Tag

Last weekend I was looking through my bloglovin’ feed and i came across Chloe’s way’s blog and saw she had posted a new blog post, which was The Blogger Tag and I personally wasn’t tagged, but I thought it would be a nice post to do and especially since it’s easy to write and post especially with the very little time I have at the moment, anyway I’m going to stop rambling and get on with it so here is my answers to the Blogger Tag.

What is your favourite beauty product?

Oh god this is a hard one but recently a few months ago I bought a Kate Moss lipstick in the colour 30 and it’s my favourite thing at the moment I wear it all the time and it was quite cheap, if I remember correctly they’re around £5 maybe £6. I’m probably horribly wrong but I’m sure I paid around that much, anyways the lipsticks for the price are really nice quality for a drug store brand, quite moisturising and last

What is your all time favourite brand?

I’m going to go with Mac, for 3 years now I’ve been aware of them and owned at least one product and I love their stuff so much, I know it’s not the cheapest of stuff but it’s not overly expensive like Benefit which is a high end drugstore brand, plus their products are really good quality and last a long time.

Do you collect anything?

Candles! Okay so I have this desk and it has a small cupboard in it and I can say that it is full of candles, I have some candles from Ikea, which smell amazing I have about 5 of them, then I have 12 Yankee candles which are just small ones that you put in holders and then I have 3 bags of tea lights, I have an obsessions with candles and as I type I have one lit right now oops?

Early bird or night owl?

This is a tough one… it depends the majority of the time I am a night owl and will stay up really late, plus I get very productive at around midnight so I’m an night owl, but at the same time I can go to bed very late and will still get up at around half seven- eight am, but the majority of the time I get up later than that so I’m mainly a night owl.

Tea or coffee?

Tea, such a stereotype of British people huh? I’m joking I only recently realised I like tea and it’ not normal tea I like, I like flavoured tea, but hey tea is tea.

What I is your favourite tv show?

This is the hardest question by far I have too many to pick from it’s either got to be Teen Wolf or Supernatural I can’t choose, they’re both such good programs.

If you could travel to any era when would it be?

I think I’d go to the great Gatsby style era so around the 1920’s I think, I just think it would be cool the music the outfits the hair it just seemed like such a beautiful era to live through, the music is great too it would have been interesting.

Barry M Matte Nail Paint Review

So last autumn I bought this Barry M Matte nail paint in the colour crush it’s a burgundy red colour that is of course a matte nail polish and this product I was definitely very disappointed with. This was the first nail polish I had bought from Barry M and after hearing so many good reviews of their products I thought oh this one must be a good one and for the price I thought I may as well, as I was in need of this type of colour. And I had completely forgot about buying this product until a few days ago and I wondered why I haven’t wore it much and today I finally went to use it and my first nail went fine and the matte finish was okay, but after that I went and did all the others and well it wasn’t as good, the matte finish on each nail came out patchy, like some would be very dark almost blackish burgundy and overs it wasn’t well covered. I also found that this product it was hard to apply without getting it all over.

I’m not 100% good at doing my nails but I am usually alright when it comes to keeping it on the nails on my right hand (I’m left handed so my right hand will always be better than my left) so when I went and did it today with this polish I was expecting it to go better than it did. it dries quickly too making it harder to get it to even out.

Also when it came to taking the nail polish off it was very hard, the cotton pad kept sticking to the nail no matter how much remover I used, It also stains the nail it’s not that much of a big deal but there’s lines on the bottom of my nail where it wouldn’t come off.

But from past expiriences with this nail polish it has been the same way every time and it’s never a nice finish it always looks messy and patchy, I’m not sure if this was just my experience or if others have found it the same, but I know one of my friends has borrowed this and she even had problems with it.

 I do love the colour of the nail polish and I do like Barry M and I will in the future still buy there nail polishes but I don’t think I’ll be buying their matte ones anytime soon. But has anyone else had this experience with the Barry M matte Nail polish?

Sunday Thoughts #6

So I didn’t post last weekend and after telling myself I would at least write a post just like this one now I never did, I was busy doing homework/ I started to get ill last Saturday so I sat back got my homework over with and relaxed by watching Supernatural and before I knew it I found myself getting things ready for college the next day and found myself in bed watching TV and sitting on the internet.

I don’t even know where time has gone every day seems to be going so fast and right now it’s the 5^th of October, October! Can you believe it? I can’t. The days keep getting faster and before we know it, it will be Christmas. The other day on Tuesday I went into Eldon Square for this Student discount night. If you don’t know what it is it’s where shopping centre’s around the UK maybe other places, I’m not sure but I do know they do this in various shopping centres around the Uk. Anyway the shopping centres have savings in various shops and you can save over 50% off. They also have other deals and you can get freebies and win different prizes such as concert tickets.

I was shocked when I went to this event I wasn’t expecting it to be as busy as it was. My advice if you go to one of these, pre register so you get your wristband (All you have to do when you get there is show them the email and your student ID and they’ll hand you a wristband it’s so quick.) I also recommend going before it starts and get the band and head to the shop you want I mean you could have a look around the shop, try stuff on if needed and wait until it starts and then use the discount. I mean when I went I went passed Newlook and as much as I wanted to go I couldn’t bring myself too as the queue to pay for things was almost out the door. I’m not even going to mention how bad one of the shoe shops were (lets just say they had a security guard outside and there was a massive queue to get in, a friend of mine waited in this queue and she waited for 45 minutes just to get in.

Overall I was quite disappointed about how little shopping I got done, but i did pick up a couple of things such as a few things from Lush and a new notebook from Paperchase, but I was more than happy to spend time with my friends from High school which I haven’t seen since back in August on results day. And may I add I tried pizza express for the first time and it was amazing! Plus the waitress was so nice to my friends and I and she even talked to me after she spotted my iPhone on the table (I have the iPhone 6 and she was talking to me about it.)

Also this week I got my English test back and well I did terrible I got a U borderline E I did so terrible on it, but hey there’s still time to improve and hopefully it’ll become easier, I defiantly did underestimate how hard and how much effort Sixth form would be and how time consuming it is. But I’m debating if after finishing AS (year 12) if I get my GCSE grade in Maths I’ll drop out, I don’t really know I’m debating it because I feel like I don’t need my A Levels? I’m questioning it so much. I love the social side of it and how much confidence it’s giving me but I don’t like the work side, I don’t enjoy my chosen subjects I feel so far behind whilst everyone else is understanding it and writing loads for things and I’m sitting there still not understanding a word. I’m hoping it’ll get easier but I don’t know I have no idea what to do, but it’s just a thought at the moment.

Anyway I got a new phone last week after I had such problems with my old iPhone after the newest update and the battery wasn’t lasting long it was dying by lunch time which was 12pm, I had a portable charger too and I was charging it back up and it would be on 1% by 5pm. Did anyone else have these problems with the iPhone 4S or was it just me? And after deciding I went for the iPhone 6 even after hearing the bad things and i’ve had no problems with it, it hasn’t bent or any of the other problems. I honestly love it and I know there are possible problems but so far there’s nothing bad about it.

Anyway I’m going to leave it here and this was a bit of an update/ my thoughts of the week and I will hopefully try to upload next week and if not I will the week after.
