July Favourites

Monday 27 July 2015

This year is going far too quickly and this month has completely disappeared. So here are some of my favourites from July. This post was meant to go up last Saturday but i was busy during the day and by the time i realised i had forgot to post this i felt really ill and i didn't post it so here it is now.

My first favourite of the month is the Revlon HD Lipsticks.  I got these at the beginning of the month and I ended up buying two. I got these in 825 Hydrangea (Left) and 875 Gladiolus (Right). These have became an instant favourite and I have been wearing both of these throughout the entire month. These lipsticks are such good quality for how much they cost, £8 from Boots.  They’re very glossy and last for a good few hours and the colours are gorgeous.

Another Make up favourite from this month is the Stila All Day waterproof Liquid Eyeliner; it’s £13 from Boots. This is the second liquid eyeliner that I have bought, the first was the Maybelline gel pot, this one is a pen styled eyeliner, which is so good. The colour lasts all day and doesn’t fade. It dries very quickly so it doesn’t smudge if your hand slips. And its so easy to apply.

So I’ve never tried any hair products from Lush yet and after much debate I finally went out and bought the American Cream conditioner. And this has become a new favourite. It’s a double strength Conditioner, which the woman in Lush told me is great for hair that gets a lot of heat used on it (such as my own which I use straighteners on nearly every day.) this conditioner smells amazing, like a strawberry milkshake. The conditioner itself is really light and doesn’t weigh your hair down.

My TV favourite of the month is Teen Wolf, Season five started up at the beginning of this month and its been very intense so far and there’s so many things happening and many questions that need to be answered. It’s very one edge and the story line this season is just so dark and mysterious there's so much suspense compared to the first few seasons but i've been loving this program so much!

And my final favourite of the month is a Youtuber, and that Youtuber is Kick The PJ. I’ve never really watched him before this month, I’ve heard of him but just recently started watching him and he’s brilliant. He’s so creative and he makes some incredible short films and other videos, if your into film styled youtube videos then he's definitely worth the watch.

So these were my favourites for this month, what have been some of your favourites from July?

Seven Deadly Sins Of Beauty

Saturday 18 July 2015

So a couple of weeks ago I was scrolling through bloglovin’ and I found this blog post by Porcelain Beauty, which is called The Seven Deadly Sins Of Beauty tag. And I thought I’d go a head and do it as well. So here are my answers to this tag.

Greed: What is your inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

My inexpensive beauty item has to be my concealer probably? I own the Collection Long Lasting Concealer, which costs £4 something so that’s probably my cheapest, but it’s the best concealer I’ve every used. My most expensive is probably either my Urban Decay or Mac Lipsticks as they’re both priced at £15.

Wrath: What beauty products do you have a love/ hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?

I haven’t really had any products that have been hard to get a hold of but I will say that one product at the moment is definitely impossible to get a hold of and that is the Collection Long Lasting Concealer in the shade fair. Every shop I’ve gone to for the last 4-5 months hasn’t had it and I’ve been looking everywhere for it. Turns out that Superdrug and boots haven’t had it in stock at all due to repackaging or something. A product I have a love hate relationship is bronzer, because I’m so pale bronzer can look muddy on my skin and can just look completely wrong, but at the same time there’s days where It can just look really good on and give my face some shape to it.

Gluttony: What are your most delicious products?

One of my most delicious products is the Bourjois Bronzer, it smells so good it smells like coconut it smells amazing! Another product is the new Revlon HD Lipsticks they smell like those candy hearts you get.

Sloth: What beauty products do you neglect due to laziness.

Primers, I own the body shop primer and I tend to skip out on it unless I’m having a long day or if it tends to be really hot outside (Which it rarely is in the UK.) to keep my make up on in the heat, but apart from that I’ll tend to skip it.

Pride: what beauty product gives you the most confidence?

One product that gives me more confidence is my L’Oreal Superstar Mascara because I have really small eyelashes so this product makes my eyelashes so much more volume and it gives them so much more length.

Lust: What products are you currently lusting over?

One product I’m lusting over is the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. I’ve wanted them for quite a while but I’m really lazy when it comes to eye make up so I usually skip eye shadows so that’s why I don’t own any of them at the moment. And I’m lusting over any products from Mac as Mac is one of my favourite brands for make up.

Envy: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

I would love to receive the Hourglass Ambient lighting blush, or the Hourglass Modernist Eye shadow palette, as it is absolutely stunning. Or maybe I would love to receive the Nars Sheer glow foundation.

So this was my Seven Deadly Sins Of Beauty answers. I tag any of you to do it, if you end up doing this then leave a link in the comment and I’ll read some of them.

My Top 10 Beauty Must Have's

Saturday 4 July 2015

So this post I’ve decided that I’m going to do a post on my top 10 beauty must have’s, these are the things I reach for on a daily basis and absolutely love.

L’Oreal Superstar Mascara- this mascara has become a favourite of mine very quickly, I have small eyelashes and this mascara works wonders, there are two sides. The first side is a white primer, which creates volume on the lashes, and the second side is a mascara, which lengthens the lashes. It’s brilliant and a new favourite of mine, which I’ll end up repurchasing.

Mac Lipstick in the colour Lickable-  this is a bright prink lipstick that I use with the Mac Lip pencil ‘Trust In Red.’ The lipstick is a cream sheen and I love to wear this at least once a week, it lasts a long time and being a creme sheen it doesn’t dry your lips out and it adds a pop of colour to my natural make up look.

Borjouis Bronzer- even though I’m not a massive bronzer fan this is my favourite I love to apply it to just give my face some shape, I have fair skin and this works nicely and doesn’t give a muddy look.

Real Technique Brushes- I swear by these brushes since I started wearing make up and I love them, I have the core collection, which includes a foundation brush, contour brush, buffing brush and a detailer brush and as well as that collection I have the powder brush and the expert face brush. I use all of them and find them all great for applying make up and they’re quite reasonable in price.

Lush Ultrabland Cleanser- this is used to remove my make up and I absolutely love this I did a review last year on it which you can find HERE. You apply it to your face and use cotton pads or a wet flannel to wipe away all traces of make up, definitely my favourite one to use.

Liz Earle Cleanser- another recent favourite of mine, I use this in the mornings to cleanse my face and I can say it’s one of the best cleansers I’ve used, I again did a full review which you can find HERE. It makes my skin so much brighter and feel so much better and look better whilst helping get rid of any spots I have.

Batiste Dry Shampoo- this is such a lifesaver! It helps just freshen your hair up instantly and give it some volume, it’s a must have product especially if your running late and your hair isn’t at its best, it’s a great product to have at hand it’s a must have!

Fudge Urban Hairspray- this is my favourite hair spray I have found and I’ve tried many hairsprays and this by far has been the only one that I’ve found that actually keeps my hair styled all day and it smells amazing!

Lush Bubble Bars/ Bath bombs- for the nights where you need something to relax you and make you feel much better after a long day I love these,  I  have tried a lot of bath products from Lush but my favourite by far has to be the Blackberry  bath bomb another favourite of mine is Sex Bomb and the comforter bubble bar.

(Blackberry Bath Bomb)

(The Comforter Bubble Bar)

(Sex Bomb Bath Bomb)

And my final beauty must have is Marc Jacobs Daisy- this is the perfect scent for spring or summer it’s a scent that is fresh and floral which is very subtle it’s definitely a must have for summer.

So these are ten of my beauty must have’s, what are some of your must have’s?
