June Favourites

Saturday, 27 June 2015

Hey guys,

Another month gone and its only 4 days until my birthday and I’ll finally be able to drive! Anyway here are some of my favourites from June.

My first favourite has been the Blackberry bath bomb from Lush, I was ill at the beginning of June and I used the bath bomb on one of the days I was feeling really ill and it was so good, the bath bomb smelt amazing and it made the water quite oily which made my skin feel super soft. The bath was very relaxing and so comforting; this bath bomb is definitely one I want to repurchase!

My second favourite is from Newlook, which is my striped shirt that I absolutely love! I’ve been wearing it with a pair of top shop charcoal grey ripped jeans and a pair of Topshop black ankle boots that can be found in my last fashion haul which can be found HERE.

My next favourite is a beauty item, which is from Topshop, and it’s the nail polish pool party, which is a turquoise blue. It’s such a nice summery colour. These nail polishes do need two to three layers and when it’s being applied to the nails it can be quite thin but apart from that these are really good nail polishes that aren’t too expensive.

Another beauty favourite of mine is the Revlon  colour burst lip gloss in 006 Strawberry Fraise. I love these lip glosses I own four of them, but this one is the one I wear the most, it’s a lovely colour that is perfect for spring or summer, the lip glosses themselves last quite a while and are very pigmented, this lip-gloss is definitely my go to lip product when I don’t want to wear a lipstick.

And my final favourite of the month is a TV favourite, which is The 100, the show is set in the future, after a nuclear war destroyed civilisation on Earth and some people from the Ark (this spaceship survivors live on) sends down 100 delinquents back to earth and so much happens its brilliant and there’s currently two seasons of this show.

So these have been some of my favourites for June, what have been some of your favourites this month?

Fashion Haul

Saturday, 13 June 2015

After realising how many of Haul’s I’ve done over this year and the last I’m realising I really need to stop buying stuff, but here is another fashion haul so I’m going to start now.

So I’m going to start with this tote bag I bought from Newlook, I mainly bought this for my holiday but I also realised that it makes a good bag for college. Its pretty simple just black, with black and white striped sides, there are no pockets or anything in the inside but it’s a big back that is perfect for the beach. I bought this when it was £18 but currently this bag is £9.

Another bag I bought from Newlook is This Clutch it’s £10, I bought it for a Family party, but I also needed something for my holiday later this year so I mainly bought it for then, it’s just simply black, with a gold bar on the front and on the inside there is a small zip pocket, with a small pocket for your phone which surprisingly will fit an iPhone 6.

I bought this top from Newlook which was £16 and it’s quite like the next top I’m about to show you guys which has two little shoe lace straps and then two little off sleeves that hang off the shoulder, which has a black Aztec pattern down the middle it’s quite a festival, holiday style top that is so light and perfect for the hotter weather.

And the final thing I have bought from Newlook was this Top, which is the same style as the top above, but it’s got a different pattern on it, to me it’s quite a festival styled top and the two tops are I made with a very light material, which is perfect for chucking in your suitcase for your holiday, as it’s the type of material that won’t crease. This was around £12.

From Primark I bought this cute PJ set which was £5. The top is a simple grey with a couple of buttons and the shorts are a silk, which have some birds on. They were really cheep and really cute so I thought why not.

Another item I bought from Primark is this large wash bag that is black and white with a Aztec pattern, with a yellow bottom and zip. This was only £4.

Another thing that was recently bought is this gold necklace from H&M, which was £3.99 it’s a simple gold tree branch necklace.

My final fashion item is these boots from Topshop that were £35 they’re called the Bernie Cut Out boots, they’re ankle boots with cut outs around the ankle and have some gold detailing on them, with a zip on the back to fasten.

The last couple of items aren’t really fashion but I bought this iPhone case from Iconemesis, it’s light blue and has feathers on the back, it’s a hardback rubber case that covers the edges of the screen. I paid £10 for this (£11 including delivery.)

So this is everything I’ve bought recently, I’ll post again next week.

May Favourites

Saturday, 30 May 2015

This year seems to be going far too fast, it’s already the end of May; I’ve sat two exams and have three more to go. I can’t wait for them to be over with so I can drop out of sixth form and get a job. Anyways here are my favourites for this month.

My first favourite is a beauty product and I did post a blog post about it a couple of weeks ago and it’s the Liz Earle Cleanse And Polish Cleanser. I love this product it’s a new product I’ve tried and I instantly fell in love with it, if you would like to see a proper review you can find that post HERE.

My next favourite is another beauty product and it’s the Maybelline Eye Studio Long Lasting Drama Eyeliner. I’ve just recently started using eyeliner and my friend recommended this one to me, so I gave it a go and I love this. It lasts all day and it’s easy to apply, nice bold and solid colour, I own this in black.

Another favourite of mine is this Newlook Black Tote with Black and White stripes down the sides. I’m going on holiday later this year and I thought this bag would be perfect for taking with me for when I’m going down to the pool etc, but I’ve recently been using it for either college or just everyday use and it’s a nice change than having a backpack and especially whilst getting on and off of the metro I find it easier to get my pass out or paying for things.

TV favourites of this month, I know I’ve meant to be revising for exams and that but I’ve found myself starting new TV shows and this time I’ve started to watch The Flash. I started watching this originally when it first got shown on Sky but I stopped watching it and ended up getting sidetracked by other tv shows so I went back and finished season one and I love it. If you love superhero things then you’ll love this.

My other TV favourite is Once Upon A Time I’m on Season three now and I love it so much. I’ve seen a lot of posts about this program on Tumblr and I thought it was about time I jump in and join them and it’s quite an interesting program, quite weird as it involves fairy tale characters like snow white, The Evil Queen and many more but this curse has been put on these characters and they can’t remember who they are and yeah it’s very good.

And my final favourite is a Drink, I’ve started to fall in love with Coffee and I went to Starbucks to do some revision and I tried the Starbucks Caramel Macchiato and the drink is steamed milk with a shot of espresso with the signature crosshatched sauce on top you can get this in three different flavours one being Hazelnut and the other being New Maple. It’s just such a nice sweet drink.

So these have been my favourites of May, what are some of your favourites from this month?

Beauty Fashion And Home Haul

Saturday, 18 April 2015

So I’ve been doing more shopping and I’ve bought some home, beauty and fashion items so I thought I would do a haul again of the things I’ve bought from Ikea, Newlook, Boohoo, Superdrug and Boots.

So the first thing I bought was this silver lamp it’s bendable so you can direct light to certain areas and it’s just such a nice lamp which I was in need of, the lamp was £15 but you had to buy the LED bulb separately so all together it came to £20 and this lamp is called Forsa.

The next thing I bought was this beautiful white lantern candle holder which has star cut out on the top with stars on the glass panels it’s just so cute and I love candles and it was only £2 so I thought why not add some more decoration to my room.  This holder is called Rotera.

Another candle holder I bought was this white patterned holder, I bought this to use as anything other than a holder for candles so instead this sits on my desk and holds some body shop lip balms and a couple of Lush Charity Pots. This is called Skurar, which cost £1.90.

And of course I bought three candles because I absolutely love Ikea candles so I ended up buying two vanilla scented candles as well as an orange scented candle. the candles are called Sinnlig and cost 95p each and they come in many scents.

From boots I bought two lipsticks, the first lipstick I bought was the Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 111 Kiss Of Life I love the Kate Moss range lipsticks by rimmel and when I bought this lipstick along with the other I got on special and I paid £10 for the two.

The second lipstick I bought was just one of the Rimmel lipsticks in the shade 058 Drop Of Sherry.

From Superdrug I ended up buying these two Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nail Polishes in the colours Full Throttle (left) and Pole Position. (Right) I got these for £6 in a deal that Superdrug have on.

Another item I bought from Superdrug was the Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hair Spray, which I also got on special and this was £4.

Onto Fashion I ordered some clothing from Boohoo, I got this Black vest with the peace symbol on it, this was £6.

I also bought another top from Boohoo which was £12 and it’s a plain Black oversized t-shirt unfortunately I couldn’t actually find it to take a picture of.

From Newlook I bought this black and white striped shirt, this was £20.

I also bought a vest top for the summer, which is a white-laced vest with shoestring straps, and this was £9.

So this is everything I’ve bought recently. I hope you guys liked it and I’ll post again next weekend.
