5 Places I Want To Travel To

Saturday, 25 April 2015

So this week I thought I’d do this small post as I have exams coming up and I haven’t got as much time to write blog posts so I thought I’d do something quite simple but still quite interesting, I really want to travel and explore the world so I thought I’d do this post on some places that I really want to travel to these are just a few of the many places I want to travel to.

1.So the first place that I really want to travel to is Rome in Italy, for a couple of years now I’ve had this obsession of wanting to go to Rome, I want to see the coliseum. And just experience the country and try the food. It looks like a beautiful county and I would love to go there and experience it.

2.  The second place I want to go to is LA in America. Again this is another place that I’ve been dying to go to and recently my erg to go has been even stronger lately after some YouTubers (Oli White, Joe Sugg and Will Darbyshire) went for a couple of weeks after playlist and again It just looks so nice, I’d love to go to Venice beach and go to Santa Monica Pier it’s just one of those places that you’d want to go for like 3 weeks and just stay there and never come back.

3. Another place I want to visit is Greece, now I’ve been to Greece once before (I went to Kos) and I loved it but I’d love to go to a different area in Greece and experience more, last time I loved the food loved the culture and it was just a fun experience so this is definitely a place I’d love to go back too but maybe next time I’d love to go to Zante.

4. This one is definitely won’t happen anytime soon but Australia is a place I really want to visit. When I was younger my Mum, Dad and I almost moved to Melbourne and ever since we didn’t move there I’ve always had a fascination of wanting to go there. I mean there’s just so much to do and see it would be a great adventurous holiday that would be an experience of a life time but not sure if I could handle a 24 hour flight.

5. And the final place I want to visit is Paris in  France which isn’t too far from England and not too expensive so maybe this could be a trip coming up over the next few years. But I think that I’d love to go in the future with a future boyfriend/ husband but I would love to again experience the sights like the Eifel Tower and try some of the food whilst spending some time shopping and exploring.

So these are some of the places that I really want to experience and travel too, this is just a few out of the many places I’d love to go to there’s so many more places in America that I would love to see and in Europe, but one thing that’s exciting is in October I’m doing a two week cruise which is going to go to places in both Spain and Portugal which I’m very excited for since I love to travel. Have any of you guys been to these places if so what are they like? And what are some of the places you’d like to travel in the world?

The Me-Time Tag

Saturday, 7 March 2015

So a couple of weeks ago I was looking through bloglovin’ and I found this tag on someone’s blog and unfortunately I forgot to make a note of who’s blog it was on and I couldn’t find the blog it was on but this is the Me-time tag and I hope you guys enjoy reading it.

1. What do you watch or read during me-time?
I tend to watch more films or TV programs during me-time so it’ll probably be something like Pretty Little Liars, Vampire Diaries or maybe some films like The Hunger Games, Divergent or maybe something that is more of a drama like If I Stay.

2. What do you wear during me-time?

Usually my me-time will be on a night time so I’ll tend to wear some pyjamas and depending on how warm it is will depend on if I wear shorts or long pj bottoms.

3. What are your me-time beauty products?
I love to use Lush products or Soap and glory so I’ll tend to have a bath and I’ll use a Lush bubble bar or one of their bath bombs and after I’ll use some of the Soap and Glory moisturisers.

4. Current favourite nail polish?
I’m going to say Essie I’ve been wearing them a lot recently but I can’t choose I’m going to go with either Bahamma Mama or A-List.

5. What do you eat/drink during me-time?
I think it depends on what mood I’m in but sometimes I’ll have some popcorn that’s usually my go to but sometimes I’ll just eat something as simple as cereal or maybe something more unhealthy, it just depends.

6. Current favourite candle?
I haven’t really got a favourite candle at the moment but my current ones that I’m burning is an Ikea one which is called ‘Sinnlig’ and it’s a lavender scented candle but I also havemy Yankee Candle which is the scent ‘Sunlight On Snow’ which I absolutely love!

7. Do you ever have outdoorsy me-time?

no I prefer to stay cosy and comfortable during me-time so I’ll tend to stay in the house and in my room during it.

8. Would you ever go see a movie alone?
I don’t think I have the guts to do that to be honest I can just manage eating alone in somewhere like subway or costa alone but I don’t think I could go and see a film I’d feel too awkward.

9. Favourite online store?

I’m going to say either Newlook or Boohoo I absolutely love them websites I always find things I love and everything I’ve ordered from these two shops I’ve loved a lot!

10. What else do you during me-time?
I usually sit and watch some films or tv but I’ll sometimes watch youtube videos or maybe Netflix along with sitting on the internet or listening to music, it just depends on the type of mood I’m in.

So this was my me-time tag I hope you guys enjoyed this and I tag anyone that wants to do it, if you decide to write this leave a link in the comments or even leave answers in the comments.

Thoughts On Life

Saturday, 17 January 2015

As of 2015 I’ve been feeling surprisingly down for it being a new year and I think it’s down to A Levels, I’m not particularly enjoying it. I enjoy the social and the friends I’ve made but I often find myself thinking what’s the point in this and when can I drop out? But I’ve realised that it’s not long until I start my exams. Of course this is going to make me more stressed and probably even more unhappy, but once that’s out of the way with and summer comes along I’ll be fine again and there will be one year left. Baring this in mind I haven’t decided if I still want to continue, I’ve decided to leave that until I get my results after my AS exams. So what’s the point in this post? I haven’t really decided I’m in a mood to write what I’m thinking and feeling and I feel like if you’re going to get this far you may as well continue and put up with it for another year, because in the end it could make a difference to my life but t the same time it might not and in the end I won’t know until later on in life if it was really worth it.

I find that life is a weird thing and I find myself thinking about it a lot and how everyone’s life’s are different some enjoy it whilst others don’t, but as I’ve realized is you have ups and downs, twists and turns like a roller coaster (yeah I’m using that example) and you have difficulties, problems, but you also will have the more positive effects like happiness, memories, friends and family. And like roller coasters what goes up must come down but to get up you have to push yourself and try, try and try some more and in the end you’ll succeed.

I know for sixth form I’m going to come out in one of two ways I’m either going to finish sixth form with really good grades and hopefully get a job afterwards, or I’m going to come out with the complete opposite and the two years will have been a waste of time and it’s down to me to decide. In the end I can put the work and effort in and it’ll pay off.

And life is the same it’s up to you what you do, you control your life so you do what you want to do and do more of what makes you happy, you enjoy writing you write, enjoy drawing? Draw. You want to go off to uni to get a degree? Work hard and you ‘ll achieve that’ and this sounds easier said than done, but in the end isn’t life a challenge? You over come things and you get a better result out of it.

And as well as the big and obvious things in life there are little things that matter just as much and these tend to be the things I look at to make myself much more happier and sometimes little things can completely change my day around and make me happier. For example photos are one of the things that I love and can do nearly any time of day and can make me happy. I love the idea of capturing a moment or just the way in which something looks. There may be no reason behind a picture but it can still look wonderful and speak a thousand words depending on how you look upon the image. And you may forget about a picture and look back and you can remember the memories of that day and the events that took place. It reminds me of the poem ‘Six Young Men’ by Ted Hughes and as much as that poem is depressing the way they talk about photographs is true, you can look at pictures from your mam and dad’s past and see a different time even if it’s not too long ago. And to you they may mean nothing but to them it may mean the world. It’s incredible really how everyone lives their own life’s and capture it in different ways and in a way we have the same guide lines but go in separate directions.

Everyone’s life’s are different and we’ll all experience different things and in the end things will get better if they aren’t already and as Winston Churchill said ‘If your going through hell keep going’ because without struggle there is no success.

Sorry about the lack of posts recently i haven't had much time to write and i've been quite busy with college i am going to try and sort things out and post weekly again.

Sunday Thoughts #6

Sunday, 5 October 2014

So I didn’t post last weekend and after telling myself I would at least write a post just like this one now I never did, I was busy doing homework/ I started to get ill last Saturday so I sat back got my homework over with and relaxed by watching Supernatural and before I knew it I found myself getting things ready for college the next day and found myself in bed watching TV and sitting on the internet.

I don’t even know where time has gone every day seems to be going so fast and right now it’s the 5th of October, October! Can you believe it? I can’t. The days keep getting faster and before we know it, it will be Christmas. The other day on Tuesday I went into Eldon Square for this Student discount night. If you don’t know what it is it’s where shopping centre’s around the UK maybe other places, I’m not sure but I do know they do this in various shopping centres around the Uk. Anyway the shopping centres have savings in various shops and you can save over 50% off. They also have other deals and you can get freebies and win different prizes such as concert tickets.

I was shocked when I went to this event I wasn’t expecting it to be as busy as it was. My advice if you go to one of these, pre register so you get your wristband (All you have to do when you get there is show them the email and your student ID and they’ll hand you a wristband it’s so quick.) I also recommend going before it starts and get the band and head to the shop you want I mean you could have a look around the shop, try stuff on if needed and wait until it starts and then use the discount. I mean when I went I went passed Newlook and as much as I wanted to go I couldn’t bring myself too as the queue to pay for things was almost out the door. I’m not even going to mention how bad one of the shoe shops were (lets just say they had a security guard outside and there was a massive queue to get in, a friend of mine waited in this queue and she waited for 45 minutes just to get in.

Overall I was quite disappointed about how little shopping I got done, but i did pick up a couple of things such as a few things from Lush and a new notebook from Paperchase, but I was more than happy to spend time with my friends from High school which I haven’t seen since back in August on results day. And may I add I tried pizza express for the first time and it was amazing! Plus the waitress was so nice to my friends and I and she even talked to me after she spotted my iPhone on the table (I have the iPhone 6 and she was talking to me about it.)

Also this week I got my English test back and well I did terrible I got a U borderline E I did so terrible on it, but hey there’s still time to improve and hopefully it’ll become easier, I defiantly did underestimate how hard and how much effort Sixth form would be and how time consuming it is. But I’m debating if after finishing AS (year 12) if I get my GCSE grade in Maths I’ll drop out, I don’t really know I’m debating it because I feel like I don’t need my A Levels? I’m questioning it so much. I love the social side of it and how much confidence it’s giving me but I don’t like the work side, I don’t enjoy my chosen subjects I feel so far behind whilst everyone else is understanding it and writing loads for things and I’m sitting there still not understanding a word. I’m hoping it’ll get easier but I don’t know I have no idea what to do, but it’s just a thought at the moment.

Anyway I got a new phone last week after I had such problems with my old iPhone after the newest update and the battery wasn’t lasting long it was dying by lunch time which was 12pm, I had a portable charger too and I was charging it back up and it would be on 1% by 5pm. Did anyone else have these problems with the iPhone 4S or was it just me? And after deciding I went for the iPhone 6 even after hearing the bad things and i’ve had no problems with it, it hasn’t bent or any of the other problems. I honestly love it and I know there are possible problems but so far there’s nothing bad about it.

Anyway I’m going to leave it here and this was a bit of an update/ my thoughts of the week and I will hopefully try to upload next week and if not I will the week after.
